Time: April 9, 2026 View:

To deepen academic exchanges in the field of electromagnetic sensing and keep pace with international research frontiers, our school invited Professor Wuliang Yin from the University of Manchester, UK, to deliver an academic report and hold exchange activities on the topic of "Electromagnetic Sensing and Imaging Technology" on April 4th.

Professor Yin is an internationally renowned scholar in electromagnetic measurement and imaging. He has long been engaged in research in related areas with fruitful academic achievements. He led several major European research projects, and holds numerous patents. During the lecture, Professor Yin systematically explained the core principles and diverse applications of electromagnetic sensing and imaging technology, covering fields such as humanitarian demining, steel production, non-destructive testing, and medical diagnosis. Afterwards, Professor Yin exchanged ideas and provided guidance with our faculty and students on instrument development, signal processing, and research challenges. He also visited the self-developed electromagnetic non-destructive testing instruments and offered optimization suggestions regarding their hardware architecture and software algorithms.

This exchange has built an international academic bridge for our school, helping faculty and students grasp cutting-edge developments and clarify research directions. Moving forward, our school will continue to deepen international cooperation to promote research advancements and application implementation in related fields.
