From November 21st to 22nd, the 2025 Jiangsu Provincial Graduate Academic Innovation Forum on High-End Equipment and Intelligent Manufacturing was held in Xuzhou. The forum was hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Category I Graduate Education Steering Committee and organized by our university and the Condition Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis Instrument Special Committee of the Jiangsu Instrument and Control Society. Centered on the theme "Condition Monitoring and Intelligent Diagnosis," the forum attracted over 150 participants, including experts, scholars, corporate representatives, and graduate students from related research fields across the country.
On the morning of November 22nd, the forum's opening ceremony officially commenced at the Baoxin Junlan Hotel. Attending and delivering speeches at the ceremony were Professor Wang Zhongbin, Vice President of our university; Professor Zhu Zhongkui from Suzhou University, Director of the Condition Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis Instrument Special Committee of the Jiangsu Instrument and Control Society; Professor Li Yanbin from Southeast University, Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Vibration Engineering Society; and Li Yang, member of the Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Category I Graduate Education Steering Committee and Chairman of Xuzhou Hengyuan Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Zhou Gongbo, Dean of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
On behalf of the university, professor Wang Zhongbin extended a warm welcome to all the experts, scholars, and students attending the forum and provided a brief introduction to the university. He emphasized that this forum serves as a high-level academic exchange platform for graduate students in the field of mechanical engineering. As the university hosting this forum for the third consecutive time, our institution will continue to leverage the platform's convening power, further strengthen relevant disciplines, enhance the quality of graduate education, and contribute the wisdom and strength of CUMT to the development of China's high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing industry, as well as to theoretical breakthroughs and practical innovation in the field of condition monitoring and intelligent diagnosis.
During the keynote report session, participating experts shared the latest advancements and achievements in their respective fields under the theme "Condition Monitoring and Intelligent Diagnosis." Reports included: "Development of Ultrasonic Phased Array Equipment Based on Nonlinear Ultrasound Principles and Micro-crack Detection" by Professor Hu Ning from Hebei University of Technology; "In-situ Testing Technology and Equipment for Material Mechanical Properties Under Near-Service Conditions" by Professor Ma Zhichao from Jilin University; "Ultrasonic Phased Array Automated Testing Technology and Applications" by Manager Huang Wulong from Eintech Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.; "National-Pulse Intelligent Inspection: Technological Innovation and Industrial Application of In-line Inspection for Long-Distance Oil and Gas Pipelines" by Professor Liu Bin from Shenyang University of Technology; "Non-contact Vibration Measurement Technology and Application for Aero-engine Rotor Blades" by Professor Qiao Baijie from Xi'an Jiaotong University; and "Organized, Integrated, Collaborative, and Real-Scenario-Oriented: Exploration and Practice in the Construction of Southeast University's National Exemplary Engineer Institute" by Professor Kuang Yinghui from Southeast University.
The forum featured four parallel sessions focusing on: Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of Electromechanical Equipment, Mechanical Condition Signal Processing and Application, AI-Driven Mechanical Health Monitoring, and In-situ Testing & Non-destructive Testing and Evaluation. Invited experts and graduate students from institutions and enterprises such as Jilin University, Southeast University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and Suzhou Baochi Acoustics Technology Co., Ltd. delivered a total of 52 presentations during these parallel sessions, engaging in in-depth exchanges and discussions.
The Jiangsu Provincial Graduate Academic Innovation Forum is a significant graduate students' innovative training and academic exchange platform established according to disciplinary fields. Based in Jiangsu, it extends to the Yangtze River Delta region, and has a nationwide reach.
