Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering (Undergraduate Program)

Program Overview:

This program aims to cultivate senior technical professionals in the field of intelligent manufacturing engineering. Graduates will possess a solid foundation in natural sciences, humanities and social sciences, and engineering technology. They will master professional knowledge in intelligent machining process planning, precision measurement and control theory, the design and application of intelligent manufacturing equipment, and production system operation and management. Students will have the ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex engineering problems within the intelligent manufacturing sector through practical engineering training. Graduates will be qualified for scientific research, technological development, application maintenance, and management roles related to high-end equipment, core foundational components, and system design and testing. They will develop a strong sense of economic, safety, and environmental considerations, alongside humanistic and social literacy, social responsibility, professional engineering ethics, and an international perspective. They are expected to become technical or managerial leaders in their respective fields.

Program Features:

In response to the talent demands of national and industrial development, the program adopts a cultivation model that emphasizes a broad foundation and practical application.The curriculum integrates knowledge systems from multiple disciplines includingmechanical engineering, control engineering, materials engineering, and management science. Furthermore, a selection of specialized courses is offered in three language tiers: Chinese, Bilingual, and English.Students can choose different courses according to their own development directions.

Duration and Qualifications:

This is a four-year program categorized as a New Engineering Discipline. It fully implements an undergraduate tutorial system aligned with the "Three-Wide Education" principle. Upon graduation, students are awarded a Bachelor of Engineering degree. Approximately the top 20% of outstanding graduates are eligible for direct admission (exempt from entrance examinations) to Master's programs, with exceptional students qualifying for direct admission to Ph.D. programs.

Engineering Mechanics, Electric Engineering and Electronic Technique, Engineering Graphics, Mechanical Principle, Mechanical Design, Microcomputer Principle and Interface Technology, Fundamentals of Control Engineering, Sensor Principles and Measurement Technology, Fundamentals of Intelligent Manufacturing Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment, Intelligent Operation and Maintenance of equipments with Health Management.
